Rustic Simplicity

This farm property has been restored in phases over the past ten years.  The first phase involved refurbishing and adding to the house itself, and establishing new garden areas that related to the home's newly defined interior which was adapted for modern living.  Outdoor terraces composed of bluestone are embellished with deep beds and a diverse assortment of plants, as well as a large pergola structure.  The most recent phase involved the construction of a new swimming pool and pool house.  Glass partition doos open directly onto the pool deck to permit unencumbered access to the pool area from within, allowing the indoor space to meld with the outdoor space seamlessly.  An antique stone sink basin was integrated into a water feature at the spa.  The pool equipment is hidden within the basement of the pool house structure.
